Community Futures Howe Sound is a registered corporation governed by all regulations and by-laws pertaining to corporations.
Volunteers are one of our most important assets. For that reason, it is very important to us that volunteers receive as much as they give. To help ensure a volunteer experience that is rewarding to you, we take care to match potential volunteers with the position that best suits their skills, interests and abilities. Our volunteers are drawn from all areas of the Howe Sound Region.
Community Futures Howe Sound advertises from time to time in local newspapers, and will also solicit suggestions for potential members among committee members, staff and other board members. If you have a commitment to economic and community development and sustainability, Community Futures Howe Sound could be the organization for you.
We encourage you to read our information package. Applications we receive are reviewed for committee and board member positions.
The Board of Directors appoints committee members. Directors are elected by the membership at an Annual General Meeting.
